Review Vs. Criticism

In an effort to save readers from accidentally running across spoilers, I feel I should point out the basic differences in articles you're bound to see around here. When it comes to particular movies, there are two types of articles written: reviews and critiques.

A review is basically an opinion piece on a movie, usually new. This type of article will keep those tidbits of cinematic realization from you so that your enjoyment is not diminished. A critique is an analytical look at a film and will study all aspects of the plot. This equals spoilers.

Consider yourself forewarned. If you've yet to see a film that is being critiqued, then know that it will discuss the plot whether or not it will spoil it. Reviews are safe territories that are spoiler-free.

P.S. - Bruce Willis is dead the whole time.
