In the beginning...

Let me first welcome you to Citizen's Blog. This blog is my half-hearted attempt of movie reviewing and discussion. Secondly, I wish to post a disclaimer. This will probably not be the movie blog you're used to reading. I didn't major in Film, or Art, or English; psychology actually. I don't, or never have written reviews professionally. My only qualification is that I really enjoy movies. You're going to see me incorrectly use words that I pretend to understand what they mean. You're going to see me heartily enjoy movies that Siskel & Ebert or who-the-fuck-ever hate. And you're probably going to hear me rant about dumb shit. So if you're willing to follow along, join me in this endeavor.

I would imagine that the majority of this site will be devoted to movie reviews. New releases, old films, random films from my collection; basically just what ever I happen to be watching at the time.

I'll also try my best to update you on the day's cinematic-related headlines.

I'd also like to occasionally throw in a few discussion topics once I get a base of readers who are willing to share their opinion.

I think this will be a fun project to do and I hope to fill it with interesting topics and an out-of-the-loop look at movies you're pondering spending half of your paycheck to see. And I'll let you know if it's worth it.
